Setting Prices and Weights

This section is where you specify prices and weights of scaffolding materials in your local area or from your supplier.

To set prices and weights of scaffolding materials, do the following:

1. From the Main page, press F9 or click on the Prices button in the Optional Setup For Scaffolding Specialists Only! section.
   

The Table of Prices and Weights screen displays.



2. Set Your currency unit by selecting from the drop-down list.
3. Set your weight unit used by selecting from the drop-down list.
4. Enter the price and weight of each item in the list.

In most cases, you will enter price per item of your materials, and ScaffPro will compute the Total Cost of Materials for you. However, you may also enter rental rates per day if you are erecting a temporary scaffold where all the materials are rented. ScaffPro will produce an estimate for the Total Hire Per Day.

5. Save your customized Table of Prices and Weights by clicking the Save button.

The ScaffPro Save dialog box displays.

6. Enter the file name with a .$$$ extension and click OK.

Note: You may import this file or any correctly formatted file with a list of common sizes into the Table of Prices and Weights. Simply click the Open button and select the file (with a .$$$ extension) that you wish to import. ScaffPro populates the table with data from the file.
