Setting Tube Sizes

This section involves the setup of tube sizes for standards, ledgers, transoms, braces, and handrails.

To set up the tube sizes of your scaffolds, do the following:

1. From the Main page, press F5 or click on the Tubes button in the Optional Setup For Scaffolding Specialists Only! Section.
   

The Set Up Tube Sizes screen displays.



2. Click on the appropriate checkbox(es) for the options you want for the estimations:

• Use Double Standards
• Stagger Handrails
• Handrails at Outer Side Only
• Add Extra Transoms on Boarded Lifts Bracing

     3.  Enter the Longer Size and Shorter Size measurements for the following:

• Tube Sizes for Standards
• Tube Sizes for Ledgers
• Tube Sizes for Transoms
• Main Handrails and Railstops
• Tube Sizes for Façade Braces (one size only)
• Tube Sizes for Ledger (one size only)
• Tube Sizes for Plan Braces (one size only)

     4.  Enter values for Other Default Data:

• Yield Strength (N/m2)
• Tube E.I. Property (exp 6)
• Tube End Allowance (m.)
