Setting Class Types

This section is where you specify the duty classification of your scaffold project and whether it is a normal or slung scaffold.

To set the class type of your scaffold, do the following:

From the Main page, click on the Set Class Type button in the Optional Setup For Scaffolding Specialists Only! section.

The Table of Configuration for Setup screen displays.

The screen displays the default values or the values you entered in the Main Setup screen.

You may change the values that display.

If not grayed out, click on the appropriate Duty Classification for this scaffolding project. The choices are:

Very Light Duty

Light Duty

General Purpose

Heavy Duty

Special Purpose

Masonry

4. Select whether this project will use Normal scaffolds or Slung scaffolds.

5. Save your Class Types setting by clicking the Save button.

The ScaffPro Save dialog box displays.

6. Enter the file name with a .rbs extension and click OK.

Note: You may import this file or any correctly formatted file with a list of common sizes into the Table of Configuration for Setup. Simply click the Open button and select the file (with a .rbs extension) that you wish to import. ScaffPro populates the table with data from the file.
